Although this campaign has concluded, if you would still like to make a donation to support Pitt Club Gymnastics, you may always do so here.
The University of Pittsburgh’s Club Gymnastics Team is part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs (NAIGC). The purpose of this organization is to encourage participation and competition, not limit it.
The NAIGC encourages sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and just plain old fun. The Pitt Club Gymnastics team is a stunning example because each and every girl on our team is doing it “for the love of the sport.”
Throughout the year our team competes against local and regional teams. At the end of the season we are lucky enough to compete in a National Competition against other club teams.
Last year’s Nationals in Fort Worth Texas was very successful. Our team came very close to qualifying for team finals and we even had two of our very own girls qualify for individual finals. Every year our team gets better and better and we cannot wait to see what this Nationals brings.
Since we are not a University funded sport, we are required to raise the funds to keep our club running. Throughout the year, we raise money through bake sales, apparel sales, and our own version of canning—Flips for Tips. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our team to help us go to Nationals in Daytona, Florida this year.
We are grateful for any support provided to our team and hope that you will consider supporting a team that truly believes in “for the love of the sport.”
Help us to reach our $4,000 goal!
Your donation will host 4 gymnasts in their hotel room.
