Our Crowdfunding Groups
As you may know, HERL is conducting another campaign in support of the ELeVATE program. Since its inception, ELeVATE has proven to be an effective approach to easing the transition from active military to college student for our returning service men and women, and we’re looking to build on the success of previous cohorts.
We thank you for your dedication to our cause, and hope you’ll consider contributing to our current campaign through another generous donation or by spreading the word about the benefits of ELeVATE.
The start of a new year always holds so much promise and we wish each of you the very best in 2019.
As we enter the holiday season, we want to take a few moments to thank each of you for your support of the ELeVATE program. With your help, we reached our goal and two deserving veterans benefitted by participating in the 2016 ELeVATE program.

As the testimonials of past participants demonstrate, ELeVATE has opened doors – academic and professional – while also serving as a catalyst for positive change in their personal lives. Our veterans have given so much, and ask for so little in return. With your continued support, ELeVATE will continue to help veterans embark on the next phase of their lives.

The level of support you provided - especially in the final days of our campaign - was incredible and we are truly grateful to have so many individuals show their dedication to assisting our veterans.
Providing financial support for a cause sends an important message to those who will benefit from your contributions. Your efforts will resonant with the veterans in our program and will serve as a reminder of the importance all of us place on helping those who have worked and fought so hard for our country.
Thanks to our supporters, we are now able to enroll one (1) veteran for the upcoming ELeVATE program. However, we still have work to do. To borrow a football analogy, we've crossed the 50-yard line, but we need to reach the end zone to win. Think "Red Zone" on a Sunday afternoon.
Veterans mean so much to southwestern Pennsylvania. As neighbors, friends, and co-workers, they strengthen the fabric of our communities and make our region special. With your continued support we can bring another veteran closer to realizing his or her academic goal.
