Although their campaign has concluded, if you would still like to make a donation to support WCE, you may always do so here.
All events for the University of Pittsburgh Women’s Choral Ensemble have been cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19 pandemic. This, unfortunately, means that the choir has made the difficult decision to cancel the tour intended for this summer. The members of the choir would have loved to attend the Festival for Women’s & Treble Voices in San Sebastian, Spain. However, it is with the safety and health of the members in mind that we have decided to cancel.
Every member of the Women’s Choral Ensemble is grateful for your donation to the WCE Goes to Spain EngagePitt Campaign. We will be applying these donations to the next tour the choir attends. The WCE hopes to sing again as soon as it is safe to do so. If you are looking for an escape during this time of uncertainty, please feel free to listen to some of the choir’s performances on the University of Pittsburgh Women’s Choral Ensemble YouTube page. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our EngagePitt Campaign, with your help we were able to successfully reach our goal of $10,000! We are completely amazed and humbled by your contributions. You have no idea what this means to us, not only financially, but to be able to see so many people come to our aid and be willing to donate is a feeling of gratitude our choir can’t put into words.
We were able to reduce the for each person going on tour by one-third. Which means a discounted trip for our members, but also significantly reduced costs for our day to day operations. Thank you for your support!

Many of our members take choir for credit. As we boost our GPAs, help boost us to our goal of $10,000!
