Final Push!

January 31, 2020

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are absolutely floored by the support that we have received from the Pitt Med and Pittsburgh Community—after blowing by our second goal of $11,000, we ask you one final time to spread the word about our campaign and the opportunity to support underserved communities in Pittsburgh.

Need help underlining the importance of the Birmingham Free Clinic or Women’s Center Clinic to people in your life? Tell them:

- In the past 3 months, Birmingham added 4 new specialty clinics – Rheumatology, Nephrology, Surgery and a Dental Screening clinic.

- Since the beginning of this fiscal year, July 1, 2019, patient visits are up 3% over last fiscal year.

- Total, current visits are roughly 3,700 for just over 1,650 individuals.

Once again: thank you SO much for your support, and help us keep going! Share the link, post on social media, shout it on the street!

We have reached our goal! Help us reach our next!

January 24, 2020

We did it!! With over a week to spare! Thank you so much for your generous support so far! We are making a final push in the last nine days to reach a NEW goal of $11,000! Please continue to share the link and spread the word about this opportunity to support Birmingham Free Clinic, The Women’s Center Clinic, and SALUD. The funds we raise here go directly into the continued success of these essential community health organizations; help us provide fundamental health services for vulnerable populations in Pittsburgh! Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of the individuals that utilize our services.

A huge thanks to all the attendees of our auction event as well—we were able to raise over $7,000 with the live auction, silent auction, and raffle! The kind support of local businesses, medical students, and faculty were indispensable in the success of this event. From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful for you!

Invaluable Learning

Our volunteers obtain necessary skills as future Pitt professionals through on-site training - but they need updated exam rooms and a fully stocked pharmacy to do so. You can continue to support their education by making a generous donation of $2,000!
