It's that time of year again - the season of giving. Our team has worked extremely hard this fall, closing out the season with multiple gold, silver and bronze medals at every regatta we attended! The hard work doesn't stop here - our winter training begins next week, preparing us for the spring.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support last year. None of our accomplishments can happen without your help, and we could not be more appreciative of your donations!

We would also like to announce that we have just today begun a new EngagePitt fundraiser to add a new boat to our fleet for the upcoming spring season. Over the next six weeks, we hope to raise another $5,000 to help offset the costs of our expensive equipment. Click here to check out our new video and see our campaign! We are thankful each and every day for the opportunity to continue doing what we love, and thank you so much for the part you play in allowing us to do so.

Pitt Crew

Hello family and friends, 

Last summer, our team raised funds for a new truck, as the one we own is no longer usable to transport our boats to races. We could not have done this without you, and we were successful in raising these funds, in large part thanks to you, our donors. 

We have submitted all of the required paperwork to the University and are awaiting final approval before we can purchase the truck. Until then, we have been renting a truck to transport our fleet to and from regattas. Your donations to our truck are much appreciated, and will still be used in the near future for that purpose. 

In the meantime, we will be starting our next crowdfunding campaign. Next month, we will begin our campaign to add a new boat to our fleet. We are extremely grateful for all your support, and look forward to what comes in our future.

Thank you so much for your amazing support and generosity over the last few weeks.  We are turning to you for support one last time, as we are only $229 away from our goal with 12 hours left in our campaign.  If you decided you were going to wait until the last minute to make a donation to Pitt Crew, now is that minute!  Help us make one last push towards our goal!

About 5 weeks ago, we began this campaign to raise funds for our new truck.  To date, we have reached 77% of our goal thanks to our generous supporters like you.  As we come to the end of this campaign, we still have a ways to go!

Raising money these past few weeks goes much much further than the truck itself.  It helps us pursue higher competition, thus helping us achieve our goals as athletes.  Pitt Crew produces rowers who, not only contribute to our success as a team, but qualify to compete at the international level.  For example, at the end of August, one of our own, Mike Yaron, will represent the United States (and Pitt Crew) at the 2016 U23 World Championships.  His success is a testament to the caliber of rower our program is capable of producing.

Needless to say, a truck is essential.  Please continue supporting in any way you can.  We appreciate it more than you know!

Greetings Everyone,

We are halfway there! Three weeks into our campaign and three weeks to go. You have helped us raise almost half of our needs to purchase a new truck thanks to YOUR help. At this rate, we will be able to purchase a truck in enough time to make it to our fall races fully prepared (and be sure that our boats make it to the course too)!  

Please continue to support us as we begin to prepare for our upcoming fall season. We truly need all the support we can get. Additionally, we ask you to reach out to others who may be interested in donating to our team as well. Any amount of participation you are willing to lend during this time of need is deeply appreciated. Without you, we’d be hitching our trailer on the back of our bus!
