Hello Pitt Pharmacy Family, Friends, Staff, and Faculty,
The GLPP campaign officially ended yesterday, and WE DID IT!! Through your support and generous donations, we exceeded our goal of $5,000 and raised $5,035 for the Grace Lamsam Pharmacy Program through the EngagePitt page! Additionally through our blanket and apparel fundraisers, we raised a grand total of $5,647.46 this year! We greatly appreciate everyone’s help, and we absolutely could not have done this without you all. This campaign was extremely successful, and we are thrilled that the GLPP will continue to be supported by Pitt Pharmacy despite setbacks from the COVID-19 pandemic. This may have been the most important and impactful year for GLPP ever.

WE DID IT! PLS would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the GLPP! We reached our initial goal of $3,000 on 2/22/21. We are so appreciative of the generosity we have seen on this page and in our fundraisers the last few months. None of this would be possible without you all.
Seeing as we surpassed our initial goal and we are only halfway through our donation campaign, we have decided to raise our goal to $5,000! Let’s continue to share this page and let others know about GLPP and why it is such a worthy cause. I know this may seem like an intimidating goal, but I have confidence that Pitt Pharmacy will rise to the occasion as we always do. We at PLS are so proud of the students, staff, faculty, family and friends of Pitt Pharmacy and we look forward to seeing what we can achieve by the end of the campaign.

Provide 6 months’ worth of medication for high blood pressure for 1 person → Help 1 patient receive 6 months of Blood Pressure Medications.
Provide pill boxes for 25 people to organize medications → Help 25 patients organize their medications at home with a pill box.
Provide 1 person with nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to quit smoking → Help 1 patient quit smoking.
Provide 1 person with 1 year worth of point of care INR testing for anticoagulation management → Provide 1 patient with 1 year worth of testing for their anticoagulation therapy.
Provide 1 years’ worth of medication for 1 person with a seizure disorders → Help 1 patient receive a year of anti-seizure medications.
Provide 20 people with the ability to self-monitor their high blood pressure or diabetes → Help 20 patients monitor and track their blood pressure and blood sugar at home by providing them a cuff and monitor.
Allows for the purchase of a clinic spirometer to diagnose and assess asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder → Help us monitor & diagnosis patients with lung conditions by providing a spirometer.
