Student nursing uniforms have changed a lot over the years, but Pitt Nursing’s commitment to excellence in nursing education has remained steadfast. Hands-on learning experience is a vital component of that education. Each year, 200 second-year BSN-seeking students begin their clinical rotations proudly donning a uniform identifying them as a Pitt Nursing student. As in the past, we are asking for your support of our annual Student Nursing Uniform Fund Campaign to supply each of these students with their first nursing uniform.

he rising costs of higher education to receive a BSN can lead to added stress for students in an already demanding environment. Pitt School of Nursing is always looking for ways to ease the burden. We want to provide a space where our students can remain focused on honing their skills in nursing practice and delivering the highest quality care to their patients. The Student Nursing Uniform Fund is one of the many ways we can accomplish this goal.
Last year, donors like you raised over $17,000 for our students in what was our most successful Uniform Campaign ever. Join us in support of Pitt Nursing students and give generously to the Student Nursing Uniform Fund Campaign. Your gift will help supply each member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing Class of 2025 with their first nursing uniform and a stellar start to their clinical education.

A vital part of a Pitt Nurse’s uniform, your gift identifies our students in the clinical areas as trainees and students of Pitt.
The whole package! Giving at this level, you will supply a uniform to a student. Your gift will make sure they are ready for the first day “on the floor” and for the rest of their career.
What is better than one nursing student? TWO! Your gift will outfit two of our students with their full uniforms for their clinical rotations.
Supporting each other is just as important as individual learning at Pitt Nursing! Did you have group of friends that helped you through your clinicals? Giving at this level will provide uniforms to five nursing student classmates!
Your gift of $500 will provide 10 uniforms. That means 10 proud Pitt nurses will greatly benefit and appreciate your gift!
Be historic! Your gift will purchase 20 full uniforms (10% of our enrolling students for the fall), outfitting the next generation of nursing “trailblazers” for their next big step.
