The Current Team:
Thanks to the support of our friends and family, the 2019-2020 Lady Panthers went undefeated, dominated our California tournament, and are still reigning WCLA National Champions since 2019! Although last season was not ideal, we still were able to get together for some practices. This year we have competed in three fall ball tournaments with Ohio State, WVU, and IUP.
We’re super fired up, and ready to compete against top NCAA Division I, II, and III teams again in the 2022 season.
Our Project:
As members of a large regionally-based conference and an even larger national organization, we travel to different tournaments throughout the spring season to compete with the best. Since we are a club team at the University, we receive little funding from the Student Government Board.
We work to offset the remaining costs through player dues and fundraising efforts, like team nights at our local restaurants (i.e. Chipotle, Roots, and Piada), as well as canning at Steelers, Pirates, and Penguin games. While we work hard in varying weather conditions, it is simply not enough to cover our expenses for the year. This is where we need your help and support!
Without support from our family, friends, alumni, and fans, we will not be able to attend these necessary tournaments and attain new victories. We hope to attend major tournaments in the spring, provided we qualify for Regionals and Nationals.

There are many ways you can help your favorite Lady Panthers be successful this season! These include, but are not limited to, donations, spreading the word, sharing our link, and cheering us on as we start a season that will hopefully be just as successful as last year!
