Our Crowdfunding Groups
Most of the collegiate rowing teams that we race against have varsity status! As a result, Pitt Rowing does not enjoy the financial support given to varsity programs. The majority of the responsibility to meet the financial requirements for race fees, transportation, new equipment, and equipment upkeep rests with the team members and our fundraising efforts.
Our team faced many challenges during the COVID year. Transportation to races was extremely challenging and expensive, practices were limited due to social distancing, and a limited ability to fundraise left our team with high equipment maintenance costs. Even then, our rowers and coxwains worked hard to achieve an extremely successful Fall 2020 racing season.
We would greatly appreciate your consideration in joining our cause to keep Pitt Crew competing at the best of our ability. Any and all donations go a long way in helping the team train, race, and compete at the highest level. Your donation will help keep the team afloat with racing and maintenance costs, which will allow us to focus on the sport we love!

This amount covers the cost of replacing an older Erg Screen with the newer PM5 model
This amount covers the cost of new pair of shoes for our fleet
This amount covers the cost of all entry fees for Head of The Schuylkill Regatta
This amount covers the cost of one Concept 2 Model D Erg for our Bellefield gym
This amount covers the cost of entry fees for Dad Vails Regatta
This amount covers the total cost of our team bus ride to and from one away regatta
