Thank you to all who supported the Pitt Law CILE Student Travel Fund. We raised an incredible $11,195 from 52 donors. Because of your passion and commitment, you have enabled the next generation of Pitt Law students to have the opportunity of remarkable travel experiences!!
Immersion in the language, culture, legal system and legal education system of another country through study abroad can substantially enhance a student’s understanding of the law and the global environment in which it is created and applied.
Study abroad may be comprised of the Summer Program at the University of Augsburg, Germany or through Pitt Law's exchange program with the Sorbonne in Paris.
Foreign internships provide excellent international law work experience, incomparable networking opportunities, and immersion in new legal cultures.
Pitt Law students have consistently excelled in international moot court competitions, generally competing in the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Jessup International Moot for International Court of Justice cases.
CILE provides Pitt Law students with travel opportunities allowing them to gain practical internship experience that will prepare them for careers as global lawyers.
