We are getting ready to wrap up our celebration of 40 years of the Pitt Epidemiology Data Center! We are currently just a bit shy of 75% of our goal and hope to close that gap over the next few hours. 

On April 21 we were joined by FDA Commissioner, Dr. Robert Califf, for a keynote lecture as a part of the EDC@40 speaker series. During the talk Califf called the EDC “a renowned clinical machine.”  The talk centered around short-term goals for clinical trials and policy, as well as misinformation, which was brought to light during the pandemic.
