Our Team
The University of Pittsburgh Women’s Club Rugby team is a competitive club rugby team that competes within the Allegheny Rugby Union conference at the Division I level. We play approximately 6-8 games during the fall semester of 15’s rugby. In the spring season, we transition and play 2-3 competitive tournaments against some fellow ARU and also non-ARU teams in a series of 7’s rugby matches.
Our Project
The funding gathered from this EngagePitt campaign will allow us to provide our team with up-to-date equipment and training gear, a budget for traveling to other schools to play competitive rugby matches, the ability to host home matches by paying for Sirs and EMTs, and the opportunity to bring in highly educated and experienced coaches to help us grow and develop as players.
Due to our club sports status and the monetary wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, our team could really benefit from the funds gathered in this campaign. We are so incredibly excited to be playing together again after COVID and we would love for our team's bank account to be able to support that without worrying about dues being too high to be paid.

This donation will cover the cost of a full tank of gas for one car when we travel to tournaments this spring!
