I hope you are all well and enjoying the holiday season with your loved ones. I wanted to thank you all on behalf of Pitt NSA for an incredibly successful EngagePitt campaign! We never would have been able to do this without you. Thank you so much for your generosity not only in donations, but also for sharing the campaign with family members and friends. We appreciate it immensely, and again, thanks to you, we are NSA Bound in 2024!

Hello all!
Some Pitt NSA members recently had the opportunity to attend the Student Nurses' Association of Pennsylvania conference at Kalahari Resorts in the Poconos! We had many exciting events that the conference offered, such as NCLEX prep course, and workshops on topics such as Talk Saves Lives, hosted by Pitt NSA's very own advisor, Dr. Jamie Zelazny.
Pitt NSA is honored to have had three Pitt members on the State Board - Mary Ella McCarthy, Nominations and Elections Committee of Western Region & Chair, Maria Santana, Northwest Regional Coordinator, and previous NSA president Kaitlyn Eastburn as State Vice President!
We are so excited to announce that three members have been elected to the incoming State Board - Maria Santana, Vice President, Ava Meglio, Northwest Regional Coordinator, and Leah Stone, Nomination and Elections Committee of Western Region & Chair! It is amazing to see Pitt represent at the state level.
At the awards ceremony, Pitt NSA received the award of Most Increased Membership for Chapters over 200 members, and the Chapter Excellence award for Chapters over 200 members. Secondly, Mary Ella McCarthy received the Upperclassmen Member Recognition Award! We closed out the award ceremony as we all sang "Sweet Caroline," one of Pitt's favorite songs.
We had so much fun and learned so much more about the nursing profession and leadership at this convention, and hope that we can attend the national convention as well in the spring. We ask that you consider donating or sharing our campaign to give students the opportunity to attend at a national level! Thank you for your continued support.
