Since 1939, the University of Pittsburgh saw a need for nurses due to the ramp-up in military actions in Europe and Asia. Over the past eight decades, Pitt Nursing has led the evolution of nursing education and research within the field. The efforts of the school benefit not only hospitals locally, but worldwide. It is our hope that we can use the money raised through this EngagePitt campaign to help support our NP students in a variety of ways during their time at Pitt Nursing. Our goal is to raise funds for students across all of our Nurse Practitioner Programs to have the opportunity to attend conferences locally, regionally, and nationally.

As well as any local hospital system-sponsored events that would be influential to budding nurse practitioners.
