Thank You!

March 12, 2018

To All of Our Friends, Family, and Fans,

We are beyond grateful for your kind donations and support over the years. It is truly remarkable that with each new class of players we acquire year to year, the appreciation from all of you for this team remains constant and unconditional. This is not the case for many other baseball teams, and our success is largely dependent on all that you do for us.

Whether it is donating money for a fundraiser like this, cheering us on at games, providing lunch between double headers, or showing us love on Twitter, your involvement does not go unnoticed, and we are blessed to have such an incredible support system.

Because of you, we shattered our fundraising goal and purchased two new sets of uniforms that will be with this club for years to come (check out one set below)! So, thank you all for the donations as well as helping create and sustain such a wonderful experience for our players over the years.

P.S. Don’t worry about the dirt, nothing a little OxyClean can’t fix.

Our Goal is in Sight! Last Chance to Donate!

December 12, 2017

Hi Everybody,

Our campaign will end in less than 48 hours but we are SO close to reaching our goal of $7,500! Please help us get there before time runs out! A donation of any amount will make a difference.

Thank you so much for your contributions and support over the past month. Let’s keep it going!

With thanks,

The PCB Team

Goal Complete: Raising the Bar!!

December 07, 2017

Thanks to all of our generous supporters, we have reached our initial goal of $5,000 and have blown past it! Your support is appreciated beyond belief.

We are excited to announce that we have decided to set a new goal of $7,500!  This additional money will help us fund our spring season. It will help cover costs such as transportation, lodging, equipment and fees, all necessary for us to achieve our goal of a Post Season appearance.

Continue to spread the word and check back for more updates during the final week of our campaign!

Uniform Fun Fact!

December 04, 2017

This week’s Uniform Fun Fact features freshman OF Aaron Watson.

Watson, a California native, is not used to the cold. He was fortunate enough to survive the late October games of our fall season, when temperatures dropped to a dangerously mild 58 degrees. When he wasn’t doing jumping jacks to stay warm in center field, you could find him bundled up in a parka in the corner of the dugout. The problem remains however, that without taking serious precautions, the brutally cold temperatures of Pittsburgh in the early months of our spring season will put him in great danger.

In order to keep him warm, we’ll need to order him a custom uniform (see proof below), complete with the latest thermal technology. This will end up being quite costly, so it is now more important than ever that we keep raising money! Any amount donation is appreciated. Please also use the hashtag #KeepWatsonWarm to spread the word.

P.S. Watson is staying positive during these colder months. You should have seen how excited he was to see snow for the first time. So cute. #KeepWatsonWarm

We're 50% Funded! WOW!

November 27, 2017

Hi Everybody!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to spend the day with family and friends. PCB is lucky to have such a strong support system behind us in the families and friends of our players. Whether it’s driving hours to our games to cheer us on or participating in our many fundraisers, the families and friends of this team are such an important part of everything we accomplish.

Because of you, we have already raised over 50% of our $5000 goal! We cannot thank you guys enough for your continued support over the years, especially the generous gifts you have donated in the past couple weeks!

We urge you to keep spreading the word about our cause, and to share our page! Keep an eye out for more updates and fun posts as our campaign continues.

Uniform Fun Fact!

November 16, 2017

This week’s Uniform Fun Fact features senior C/DH Kyle Semetti.

If you’ve seen Kyle play, you obviously know he can hit the ball a country mile. You may also have noticed that his white pants are more brown than white. What you probably didn’t know was that he was voted to have the dirtiest pants in the NCBA, and with this being his last year, he has donated them to the PCB Hall of Fame, where they will be displayed for years to come!

While we will miss his bat in the lineup, we will have a piece of Kyle forever.

But we will really miss his bat.

*Semetti posted a .531 BA this fall, with 4 doubles, 4 triples, 1 Homerun, and 22 RBI
