Pitt SASE: 2016 Regional Conference in Boston, MA

Only together can we hope to tackle today’s most challenging problems, because "We are the solution."

What is Pitt SASE?

The University of Pittsburgh’s Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (Pitt SASE) is a student organization that is dedicated to assisting its members achieve their full potential. Pitt SASE provides a wide range of professional development events to prepare our members for success in the global business world. We also celebrate cultural diversity on campus and encourage members to contribute to the enhancement of our communities.

What is SASE's Regional Conference?

In past years, this conference has been an effective way for our members to establish professional and cultural relationships with hundreds of other student leaders from chapters all across the Northeast, as well as further prepare our members to overcome challenges in increasingly multicultural workspaces. This conference is a valuable experience for our members who are looking to learn from engaging panelists and workshops that promote community building, cultural understanding, and interpersonal group dynamics.

The 6th annual 2016 SASE Northeast Regional Conference will be held at Northeastern University in Boston, MA! The theme this year, “Collaborate, Create, Inspire: We Are the Solution,” emphasizes the importance of working in a team. No matter what career path we choose, we will always be actively interfacing with multidisciplinary teams comprised of people with diverse sets of skills and experiences. Our members will have the opportunity to engage in a full day of exciting speakers and workshops focusing on working effectively in groups, solving challenges, and helping others achieve their goals by making meaningful and lasting contributions.

How can you help?

We are seeking your help to raise money to send our SASE chapter to the 2016 Northeast Regional Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. -Roundtrip travel between Pittsburgh and Boston

-Conference Registration fees

Additional funds raised will defray the costs of travel and program fees for the upcoming 2016 SASE National Conference in October.
