Coming to the end of another successful year, we have just completed another round of transitions for our officers next year and even sent some of them to our annual student leadership conference in Atlanta, Georgia. You are now apart of a historic moment! January 15,1969, marks the historic computer takeover in the Cathedral of Learning when Black students demanded to speak to the Chancellor and went on to establish BAS and the Africana Studies program!
Strap up your adidas’ and walk this way. Like prominent group RUN DMC, you have allowed BAS to set trends and spread messages and resources throughout campus with your donation!
You’ve made it to the pinnacle of good music. You’re basking in the Golden Age Hip-Hop and R&B. The only Christopher we acknowledge is Wallace and, like him, you’ve clearly got enough to feed the needy (and BAS!)
You possess the power and strength of Marvel’s first Black superhero featured on the big screen. Like Black Panther, you are helping us break records to bring the best events to campus as possible.
