Thank you doesn’t seem adequate enough to express the amount of gratitude my family has for your generous donation to Samay’s Memorial Lecture. Your commitment to carrying on his legacy is truly a gift from the heart.
Warmest regards,
Mala
Hello,
I would like to thank you for your support of the Dr. Samay Jain Memorial Lecture. Clearly, he touched so many people – family and friends, patients and colleagues – and the outpouring of support for this special project has been touching. I am pleased to be able to increase the goal for this effort as so many of you want to help us remember a fine friend and colleague.
I also have a special message from his wife, Mala. If you can share a memory of Samay with her, it would be particularly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tim Greenamyre
Dear Friends,
Thank you to all for your help with the fundraising efforts for Samay's Memorial Lectureship. I have created a separate email address to where people who knew Samay can share their stories/memories/observations of him: samaymemories@gmail.com. Please share as many as you would like! I am collecting these as a way for Iyla to get to know who Samay was. And as she grows, hope that she sees him reflected in her and vice versa. I will make sure that she always has that connection to Samay. He loved her so much. Memories and stories of him are like a balm for my heart, and I hope they will one day, be for hers as well.
With gratitude,
Mala
