Friends, Family, Fans of Club Swim at Pitt, 

As our campaign comes to a close, we wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU for all for the amazing support that you showed us. During our 56 day run, we raised $3,275 for our team! This is an amazing figure and a true sign of your dedication and generosity. 

With these funds, we were able to send over 20 swimmers to Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Here, we had a very successful meet, with 3 swimmers making it to the A finals. This is a very impressive task- first qualifying for nationals, then placing within the top 8 swimmers for their respective events. We are so proud of the successes of the entire team this year, and so excited to bring this energy into next season! 

Additionally with these raised funds, we will be using some of the money to help with costs for next year- travel fees, events, and merch. 

With the school year ending soon, we still have a few end-of-year celebrations! This week, we will hold our Spring Formal, which will be a nice way to relax, dance, and sing for some team bonding. Our end-of-the-year banquet is also coming up, where we will reflect on this year’s successes, recognize our seniors one last time, and announce next year’s board members! 

So, once again, from the entire Club Swim at Pitt family, we want to thank you for your generosity, support, and love that you showed our team! We are SO thankful for you, and cannot put into words our appreciation.

Hello Club Swim at Pitt fans! 

As we come back from Sping Break, we have a little less than 2 weeks left of our EngagePitt fundraiser, and we need your help to reach our goal! We are about 60% of the way to reaching our goal, so let’s finish strong and hit that $4,000 mark! 

We have a busy end of the semester coming up, including our Nationals competition, where we are more than excited to announce that we will be bringing over 20 swimmers from our team to compete! This is an incredible number and we are so proud of these swimmers, and also always thankful for your support that allows us to bring this many members. That being said, with all of these swimmers, that means we need your help now more than ever! Nationals is at the end of this month, so it’s quickly approaching! All of our swimmers have been attending practice regularly, and Secretary Matt has been super great acting as a coach and running practices this season. 

After Nationals, we are looking to celebrate another successful season with our Spring Formal and End of the Year banquet! 

We are excited to finish this season in the best way possible before heading out for the summer.

Hi everyone!

Our EngagePitt page launched just about 2 weeks ago, and we are so thankful for your generosity already! We’ve had a busy last couple of weeks, but wanted to share what we’re doing as a club:

We had lots of great swims at the Penn State Winter Splash Meet. Our girls received first place, beating out Penn State by a close 7 points! The boys came in second and as a team we placed second overall! 

Last weekend the team participated in a team bonding event at SouthSide Works, playing games at Pins Mechanical Company and having lunch together at The Cheesecake Factory!

This upcoming week we will be preparing for our annual spring home meet we are hosting Saturday February 18th. We have 4 more days of practice until we compete! There are about 9 teams attending, including schools like Villanova, CMU, Duquesne, WVU, and Miami University, so it will be pretty competitive.

The team is looking forward to it and we have many swimmers hoping to make national cuts so it will be an exciting meet!
