Thank you!

April 07, 2023

Dear friends, family, alumni, and frisbee enthusiasts,

Thank you so much for your support! As a result of your generosity, we raised $4,025 to help Danger achieve our goals throughout the upcoming series. This has been an extremely successful year, and we are working hard to finish this season out strong.

Unfortunately, due to injury and sickness, we were not able to attend Northwest Challenge. However, this means we are even more pumped and ready for sectionals.

Spring is our favorite time of the year because we reach our full frisbee potential as a team. These recent months we have been working hard during practice, on the track, and in the gym. It makes us proud to see the skills and bonds we are developing as a team. We would not be this successful without your kindness and generosity and are looking forward to making you proud. Representing Pitt is something we all cherish, and it would not be possible without you and your support.

Hail to Pitt and Hail to Danger!

Much Love,

Danger 2022-2023

Season Update!

March 17, 2023

Hi everyone!

We are about four weeks into our project and already at 80% of our goal. Thank you so much for your support.

We had a busy February and wanted to share how we’ve been doing:

We attended Queen City Tune Up and Commonwealth Cup with 5th place finishes at both! Danger is currently ranked 9th in the DI Women’s Division by USAU and eager to keep improving.

We fly out to Seattle in a week to play some fierce West Coast competition, so keep on the lookout for those scores and outcomes on March 25th and 26th.

Thanks again, and as always H2P!

Love,
Danger ⚠️

Levels
Choose a giving level

$25

Backhand

The backhand is the first throw you learn. It may seem simple, but it is one of the most important throws a player can master. Your donation of $25 helps fill up cars with gas on the way to our tournaments on the East Coast.

$50

Flick

The flick throw is usually the second throw a player learns. Once mastered, it allows players to execute trickier throws, and more successfully play against the defense. Your donation of $50 will cover the cost of a hotel room for one night.

$75

Lefty Backhand

Lefty backhand is a clever way to trip up the mark and get off those quick give-and-goes. Like the lefty backhand, $75 is a great way to give so that a player can go to Nationals.

$100

Scoober

A scoober is an upside down throw from across the chest. This is used by experienced throwers. Your donation of $100 partially pays for a bid fee for a tournament.

$250

Hammer

The hammer - a favorite of co-coach Annelise Peters - is an inverted over-the-head-throw. It is a tricky throw, but also one of the most fulfilling feelings upon completion. Your donation of $250 will cover the cost of gas for all of our cars for a tournament.

$500

Layout D

Though not a type of throw, a layout D is one of the most exciting and important defensive moves a player can make on the field. $500 will pay for the team to attend a tournament like Northwest Challenge in Seattle.

$1,000

Greatest

A greatest is THE ultimate play in a game - it is when a player is in the air and catches the disc out of bounds, but manages to throw the disc back in bounds before hitting the grass. Another player is then there in the end zone to catch the disc for the score. A gift of $1,000 pays for two flights for cross country tournaments or an entire team hotel stay.
