Thank you again for all the generous support we received for funding Scope and Scalpel through EngagePitt! We were able to meet our fundraising goal and have already started casting and rehearsals for the show, and it is all thanks to the donations we received.
I now wanted to offer the opportunity to anyone interested in placing an Ad or Congratulatory Note in our show’s playbill. These playbills are seen by hundreds of people, and are a great way to advertise a business or say congrats to the incoming class of new doctors! If you are interested, please email scopeandscalpelsociety@gmail.com with the size of the ad you would like in the subject line. Please see the choices below for sizes and pricing. In the email please include text messages and any images or ready-to-publish files as an attachment. We will email you with payment details after receiving your request. You can see the attachment below for examples of previous content.
Also, please indicate in your email your show preference for your TWO FREE tickets! The show will be on Friday May 19, 7pm and Sunday May 21, 2pm.

Hey Scope and Scalpel family,
WE HAVE EXCEEDED OUR GOAL! Thank you guys SO MUCH for all of your support in getting us to our fundraising goal! The 2017 Scope and Scalpel, Lord of the Ring Enhancing Lesions, is in full swing and rehearsals are around the corner already! This project would not be possible without your generous donations, and we are working hard to make sure this year’s production is the best one yet. Our S&S director and writing team have finished our script and have already cast our actors! Below is a picture of this wonderful writing team, lead by S&S Director Wei-Wei Lee.
We invite everyone to attend the production, which will take place at Central Catholic High School on May 19th, 7pm, and May 21st, at 2pm. We hope to see you all there!

With great power comes great responsibility. For $100, you can help support your friendly medical student. Remember, the one you left in the resident lounge 3 days ago without dismissing for the day? Yes, he is still there.
Your medical student has diligently run the CHA2DS2-VASc, HAS-BLED, ASCVD, CURB-65, APGAR, MOCA, CAGE, WASP, GCS, and PHQ-9 assessments on your entire floor. Please consider contributing to her SANITY score with a generous $250 donation.
Budgeting and expenses has now become a part of your job, so you know first hand how difficult it can be to adequately supply your team with the equipment they need. But $500 can buy....CHAIRS! And tables, and buckets, and surgical caps, and....basically all the props we'll need in the show.
Could you imagine that a four letter word could carry so much power, respect, and (obviously) a guaranteed mention in this year's show?? A contribution of $1000 will make sure that you watch in style -- padded seats, air conditioning, an assortment of baked goods and sodas available for purchase to be consumed outside of the venue during intermission only, please -- yes it can all be yours.
