Although this project has ended, if you would still like to make a donation to support Habitat for Humanity at Pitt, you may always do so here.
Hello everyone!
Our campaign has concluded, and we are so thankful for the generous support you have all shown us. We were able to raise $3,219! Thanks to your support we will be able to travel to Wilmington, NC for the third straight year where we will spend a week working on the construction of an affordable house with Cape Fear's Habitat for Humanity. The house will be for a family in Wilmington's Burgaw County. We will send out a final project update after our trip where you will be able to see the difference you helped make for us and a family with your support!
Your gifts will be used towards the participation fee that we must pay to serve through the Collegiate Challenge program along with transportation. Without your gifts, our service trip to Wilmington, NC would not be possible - thank you for helping us achieve our mission. We are excited to share this meaningful experience together as a club and couldn't have done it without every one of our donors!
Best wishes,
Habitat for Humanity at Pitt
Thank you so much to everyone that helped us reach our $3,000 goal, it means so much to all of us here at Habitat for Humanity at Pitt! You all have truly inspired us and you are helping to make this service trip so much more affordable. Our trip would not have been possible without your generosity.
Since we have exceeded our initial fundraising goal with a couple of weeks left in our campaign, we have decided to increase our goal to $3,500! If we reach this new goal, the final participant cost will only be about $70 per person, which is amazing!
If you were wondering a little bit about the cost breakdown, the first $3,000 raised was approximately the cost for travel (renting vans and gas between Pittsburgh and Wilmington), and program fees. The next $500 will predominantly cover our group meals!
Again, thank you all so much for your help. Your support means the world to all of us preparing for the Collegiate Challenge!

Habitat relies heavily on volunteers not only for building the actual house, but also for food, drink, and supply donations. This donation will pay for the participation fee of one volunteer!
