Who We Are
The Figure Skating Club at Pitt is a competitive club sport at the University of Pittsburgh and an officially-registered intercollegiate figure skating team through the United States Figure Skating Association. Our team consists of undergraduate and graduate students who all share one passion - figure skating. We are a group of singles skaters who compete at the senior and junior levels, synchronized skaters, ice dancers, and many who are returning to the ice for the first time in months and/or years. Members of Pitt Figure Skating are dedicated athletes who balance practice each week with their college schedules and strive to achieve great success in both aspects of their lives.
This is our team's sixth year as a competitive club sport within the University. Last year, and at previous competitions, we have been able to make a name for ourselves within intercollegiate competitions while taking home many awards and medals along the way in a variety of divisions. This year, we are excited to continue sharing our love of skating through competitions at the University of South Florida, University of Delaware, and North Carolina State University. Our goal is to qualify for the 2024 US Collegiate Finals in Lake Placid, NY!
Our Project
Collegiate skating provides us with the opportunity to continue our involvement in a sport that means so much to each and every one of us, but the expenses associated with these events can be challenging for our team and individual skaters. We are asking for your support to help us raise funds to cover the cost of practices, competition entry fees, travel/lodging, and other miscellaneous fees associated with the team. Any gift made to the team can help our skaters reach their goals and showcase their amazing talents in our Southeast Division Competitions.

A donation of $20 will help one of our team members pay for a tank of gas to drive our skaters to the off-campus rink each week! Thank you for helping us get to practice!
A donation of $45 will cover the cost of three members’ practice sessions each week. Thank you for helping get our skaters ice time each week for competition training!
A donation of $65 will cover one entry fee for an individual skater to compete at an intercollegiate competition representing the University of Pittsburgh! Thank you for helping our skaters compete and showcase their amazing talent!
A donation of $100 will cover the cost of lodging for a night at away competitions! Thank you for helping us get to our competitions!
A donation of $250 will help cover the cost of our low, intermediate, and high team maneuvers entry for an intercollegiate competition! Thank you for helping us showcase our team’s individual skills!
A donation of $500 will help cover the cost of lodging and travel for our team at one competition! We are so grateful for your incredible contribution to the team!
A donation of $1,000 will help cover entry costs, travel, lodging, and other team expenses throughout the entire season. Our team is beyond thankful for your generosity and appreciates your support of the Figure Skating Club at Pitt!
