Our Crowdfunding Groups
In an effort to see PRYSE achieve its full potential in helping as many students as possilble, it was decided that more college students and community members need to be aware of the large refugee community in Pittsburgh. It is with that that the Camp to Care Simulation was created. The Camp to Care Simulation will bring about 400 college students to the Univeristy of Pittsburgh to take a journey through a day in a refugee camp. Various hands-on stations such as food rations, shelters, health examinations, cultural immersion, and more will allow students to understand the hardships that refugees face on a daily basis.
The people that we strive to help need the time and energy that college students can offer and the event will help to raise the awareness and empathy for refugees throughout Pittsburgh, as well as, present numerous opportunities for volunteering with the refugee population of Pittsburgh, not the least of which is through the PRYSE Academy.
In addition to our crowdfunding campaing, we are hoping to raise additional money at the Camp to Care event for PRYSE Academy. We hope that you are able to join us for this unique event!

At this level, you will fund a week's worth of lunch for a PRYSE Academy student.
With this donation, we will be able to send 5 students on a museum trip to Phipps Conservatory. As a thank you, we will send you a picture from the PRYSE Academy.
Your contribution will help to fund a workshop for the kids to learn different forms of creative expression. As a thank you, we will send you a hand-written thank you note from the PRYSE students, and you will receive a picture from the PRYSE Academy.
Your gift will fund one of our non-profit partners to teach a series of skills-based lessons in academic preparedness. You will receive hand-written thank you note from the PRYSE Academy, along with a PRYSE Academy picture, and an invitation to the final talent-show performance.
Support at this level will fund a field trip for the students to journey to the Science Center. As a thank you, you will receive a framed picture, hand-written thank you note from a PRYSE Academy student, and an invitation to the final talent-show performance.
