Who We Are
We are the Cross Country Team who calls the rolling hills of Pitt-Johnstown home. Composed of over 20 athletes and a dedicated coaching staff, our vision is to produce high-quality student-athletes who achieve athletic and academic success year after year.
It is our Mission to "Prepare young adults from diverse backgrounds for life's journey through competition, service, and education." With your help, we can better achieve our mission by staying healthy and returning from injury faster with a valuable tool called an ElliptiGo. When we reach our goal of raising $4,000, we will use the funds to purchase an ElliptiGo trainer so that we are at our best when it is time to train and compete!
Our Project
Runners are not immune to injury. Repetitive movement patterns and forces can create acute and chronic injuries. By purchasing an ElliptiGo, we will be able to supplement running with riding and prevent injuries. If an unfortunate injury does occur, the ElliptiGo will allow our runners to continue to train and get back to the sport they love.
