With 54 donations, we were able to raise over $8,300 for the Falk School Faculty and Staff Professional Development Fund.
This fund will be used to defray the costs of professional conferences, workshops and training and other opportunities determined to provide direct benefit to faculty and staff members’ career at Falk School.

The formal end to the 2020-21 school year has come and gone but faculty members are back in the building hard at work planning for the 2021-22 school year and beyond! There are 7 days left to support the professional development of Falk faculty and staff members through our EngagePitt project. Thanks to the generosity of the Falk School community, the crowdfunding campaign for the Faculty and Staff Professional Development Fund is off to an amazing start! In less than one week, we have officially crossed the halfway mark of our goal. There are still 28 days left to go and we hope to exceed our goal in the coming days. Thank you for your support!
A gift in this amount will cover the cost of a book for book club. Professional book clubs create a culture of conversation and idea sharing.
A gift in this amount will cover the cost of attendance for a professional development workshop through community organizations such as the Pittsburgh Opera or Carnegie Science Center.
A gift in this amount will cover the dues to join a professional organization such as the National Science Teacher Association. Professional organizations allow faculty and staff to connect with a community of their peers and access resources.
A gift in this amount will cover a flight for an out of town visit to a peer laboratory school. After a visit to a peer school, faculty and staff can integrate their experiences into their classrooms and work.
A gift in this amount can offset the cost of tuition for a class not offered by the University of Pittsburgh. Our faculty and staff are committed to a life-long learning philosophy!
A gift in this amount will cover an honorarium to host a speaker for all faculty and staff members at Falk School. Help us learn, grow and discover together!
