The Ronald Vickroy Fund will provide financial support to a full-time undergraduate student(s) enrolled in the business program at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ).
Your generous donation to the Ronald Vickroy Fund will directly impact the lives of UPJ business students and help them achieve success in their academic and professional lives.
Ronald Vickroy (a.k.a. “Mr. V.”) is a Johnstown native, husband, father, grandfather, friend, colleague, veteran, community leader, golfer, and professor. Mr. V. has touched the lives of countless students during his 27 year tenure in the business department at UPJ.
A strong work ethic, sense of humility, and an eagerness to learn are just a few of the lessons Mr. V. taught his students. He is truly a UPJ legend, who, despite retirement, still manages to stay in touch with the almost 450 alumni whose lives he’s forever changed.
Every fall a new group of business students enter Biddle Hall. While these students won’t have the privilege of having Mr. V. for class, they can still benefit from the legacy he created during his time teaching.
A gift to The Ronald Vickroy Fund will help support a student(s) enrolled in the business program at UPJ while helping to alleviate some of the financial burden of attending college.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in order to establish an endowed fund, which will continue to benefit UPJ business students now and for years to come.
The Ronald Vickroy Fund will honor Mr. V.’s dedication and commitment to his students and enrich the business division at UPJ.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make an impact and help us create a lasting legacy at UPJ for Mr. V.
