Thank you to all who have supported ThinkSepsis so far! We truly appreciate your help in this initiative. After the first two weeks we are over a third of the way to our goal, which means we can equip two EMS trucks with the complete infrastructure and hardware for the pilot test. We are now on our way to equipping a third truck!
We will be providing an update on the mobile application within the next few weeks. In the meantime, we wanted to share a video from Sepsis Alliance, Faces of Sepsis, in which three individuals share their personal stories of how sepsis has affected them firsthand. This is a reminder of the importance of raising awareness of sepsis and joining together to improve care.
Please continue to share our project link (http://engage.pitt.edu/thinksepsis) with friends, family, and colleagues who may want to be a part of this campaign or learn more about our research or the ThinkSepsis app. Thank you!
Warm regards,
ThinkSepsis Team
Dear Supporters,
With just five days left in our campaign, we are almost halfway to our goal, and less than $200 away from being able to equip a third EMS truck for the ThinkSepsis pilot program! We could not have gotten this far without your generous donations and your willingness to share our message, so thank you again for supporting our work and our vision!
Please help us in our final push this week by spreading the word and sharing our link with anyone who might be interested in supporting sepsis research (https://engage.pitt.edu/thinksepsis).
Thanks again for your generous support!
ThinkSepsis Team
Dear Supporters,
The ThinkSepsis crowdfunding campaign has come to a close, and we cannot thank you enough for your generous support. The campaign was a great success, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
The funds we raised will be used to fully equip three EMS trucks for the ThinkSepsis pilot program, allowing us to expand our current effort and making a truly positive impact on the ThinkSepsis research program. Most importantly, this campaign has allowed us to share our research with you and others in the community.
Again, a very warm thank you goes out to each and every one of you for showing such generosity, especially those who donated in memory of a loved one. You remind us of the importance of our work and we welcome you into this effort to raise awareness for sepsis and improve early recognition and care.
We look forward to sharing another update with you at the start of the pilot program. Stay tuned!
With gratitude,
Dr. Christopher Seymour and the ThinkSepsis Team
